LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). Charging them below freezing point would damage their lifespan. Therefore, it's essential to ensure that the batteries are kept within this temperature range during charging.

6ah Version is a great replacement in a Vexilar

I bought this battery to replace a sealed lead acid battery in my Vexilar. The 6ah size is a perfect fit in my Vexilar shuttle, same connections and size, a direct fit. The 6ah will run a mechanical flasher for a full day. The big advantage with this lithium is the weight savings. See my pics for a comparison. Yes, its only a few lbs, but carrying that Vexilar, hole hopping all day, it makes a huge difference.A couple things to know, these lithium batteries need a compatible charger. The charger from a regular sealed lead acid battery wont work. They put out full voltage until they are just about ready to die, so an Vexilar battery meter will always show full. I just make sure I charge the night before, good to go. Really though, if you are like me and fish about 8 hours at a time, than battery will only need to be charged every other trip. Finally. Id recommend an inline fuse on the positive wire between the battery and the flasher. Its cheap insurance, and easy to add in.
