We recommend using a 14.6V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery charger to maximize the capacity.
☆ Recommend charging voltage: 14.2V ~ 14.6V
☆ Recommend charging current: 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5hrs to 100% capacity.
50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2hrs to around 97% capacity.
Attention: ☆ Connect the charger to the battery before connecting it to the grid power in case of sparks.
☆ Remember to disconnect the charger from the battery after fully charging.
No. The LiTime mini batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.
If you need the marine starting batteries, visit LiTime 12V 20Ah Marine Cranking or 12V 140Ah Dual Purpose battery to choose.
Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels.
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 400W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥400W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
Besides solar panels, there are 2 more ways to charge.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current:
3. LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current:
LiTime 12V 100Ah mini LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0℃ to 50 ℃ / 32℉ to 122 ℉. Please note that the 12V 100Ah mini version does not include low-temperature charging protection function.
It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, recharge the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉),45%RH~75%RH
One of my favorite things about the LiTime mini 12v 100a battery is the way it looks. Very good design. Kudos to the designer.
This lightweight battery will give me years of reliable power when needed. If it ever gets exposed to extreme low temperature, the battery will protect itself from being damaged.
I bought 2 of these compact power babies! great power for my water cooker (100A) but I emptied them twice by mistake since I don't have a controller / monitor that fits with the battery. My suggestion is that these are offered together with the pack. Further, I trust no damage because of this action.
I purchased the LiTime 12v 100ah Mini batteries for my FWC Grandby to replace the existing AGM batteries. It's amazing how much lighter the LiTime Mini batteries are, the conversion was easy, and the fit & finish on the LiTime Minis is great. Once I fabricate some shields for the batteries, I will be able to use the extra room for storage. I definitely recommend LiTime Mini batteries as a replacement.
