Get Ready for Effortless Charging!
LiTime battery charger is convenient for you to connect quickly. The portable handle on the top helps you remove or carry the charger easily. The user-friendly design enables you to charge at your will, even in home storage, trolling motor, fishing and camping.
The charger is compatible with all 24V lithium LiFePO4 batteries, making it a versatile choice for various applications. With a powerful 40A output current, it can fully charge a 24V 100Ah battery in 100/40=2.5h.
In addition to its fast charging capabilities, the charger is designed with safety features to protect against overcharging and overheating, ensuring the longevity and health of your batteries.
Trickle charging is not acceptable for lithium batteries. Charging a LiFePO4 battery with a trickle charger not designed for this type of battery could lead to overcharging or damage due to the different charging requirements of lithium batteries compared to traditional lead-acid batteries.
Yes, you can charge lithium batteries to 100%. However, keeping the charge below 100% and avoiding complete discharge can significantly enhance cell longevity. Maintaining a state of charge (SoC) within the 20%-80% range is particularly beneficial for prolonging the life of lithium batteries.
For LiTime deep cycle lithium batteries, they can endure over 4,000 deep cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD), more than 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD, and over 15,000 cycles at 60% DoD. This demonstrates how thoughtful charging practices can greatly extend the lifespan of your batteries.
While it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger—thanks to the built-in Battery Management System (BMS) in both the charger and the battery that prevents overcharging—it’s still advisable to monitor the charging process.
Once the battery is fully charged, it’s best to disconnect it promptly to prevent any unnecessary damage.
For added convenience, LiTime offers chargers equipped with Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the connector, eliminating the need to unscrew the battery terminals after charging.
However, for optimal safety, it is recommended to unplug the AC power cord before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
