Its user-friendly interface allows for easy monitoring of charging status, while its compact and lightweight design ensures convenient portability and storage.
Installing the charger horizontally will enhance ventilation and heat dissipation. Make sure to place the charger in a well-ventilated area with adequate airflow to prevent overheating and potential damage.
Yes, LiTime LiFePO4 batteries can be charged to 100%. Unlike some other lithium battery chemistries, LiFePO4 batteries are designed to handle full charges without significant risk of damage. However, for optimal longevity, it’s often recommended to keep the battery's SOC between 20% and 80% for regular use.
Although it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger, as both the charger and the battery itself have a BMS to prevent overcharging, it’s still best to monitor the charging process.
Once the battery is fully charged, disconnecting it promptly is recommended to avoid unnecessary damage.
For convenience, LiTime offers chargers with Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the Anderson connector without needing to separate the battery terminals from the screws after charging.
However, for optimal safety, it’s advised to first unplug the AC plug before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
Bought this battery to power my 36V Trolling motor. This battery is a beast. First issue I had to solve was getting 12v to my gps puck for spot lock. This was solved with a 36V to 12V buck converter. I can use this battery all day in high current/wind and still have well over 50% of my battery left. I should never be able to run it down in a day and can go multiple days of fishing with my Cayman 246 without a recharge. The LiTime 10A charger works great in this application and I appreciate its IP/water resistant rating. The app could offer more details about the individual cells so hopefully that is something that gets added someday versus just telling me everything is OK. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase, especially considering the cost of this Bluetooth enabled battery versus the competition. The hardest part was building a custom battery tray that would fit this battery in my preferred location. Something LiTime may want to consider in the future.
It’s intelligent also. The LiTime app was giving a 1% charge when I knew the battery was nearly 90% charged. Out of caution I loaded the boat and went home even though my motor was showing the battery nearly fully charged. I restarted my phone and even deleted the app and downloaded it again. That didn’t fix the issue. I hooked up the LiTimd battery charger and it still showed 1% charge with estimated charge time of 5 + hours. I checked it again in about 5 minutes and it was showing 100% charge. 👍
Works great. Very high quality 👌. Better than expected 👏.
I use this on my golf cart and works very well. The charger looks to be well made.
