The speed of a 36V golf cart can vary depending on factors such as the make and model, as well as any modifications made to the cart. Generally, a stock 36V golf cart can reach speeds of around 12 to 15 miles per hour.
The amperage draw of a 36V golf cart varies based on factors such as terrain, weight load, and the condition of the batteries and motor. On average, it can range from 20-30 amps.
Lithium batteries can deliver more power to your golf cart than traditional lead-acid batteries. This means you can tackle hills and inclines with ease, and your golf cart will have a higher top speed.
Lithium batteries have a significantly longer lifespan compared to lead-acid batteries, LiTime lithium golf cart batteries can last 10+ years.
1. LiFePO4 Battery Charger
We recommend using a 43.8V battery charger to maximize the capacity
Recommend charging voltage: 42.6V ~ 43.8V
Recommend charging current: 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5hrs to 100% capacity. 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2hrs to around 97% capacity.
Attention:
Connect the charger to the battery before connecting it to the grid power in case of sparks.
Remember to disconnect the charger from the battery after fully charging.

2. Solar Panels
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 1200W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
3. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 42.6V ~ 43.8V.
The Recommended Charging Current: ① 20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards.
All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.

I put a 36v 100ah golf battery in my older EZGO in May 2024.Before I ordered the battery I went to my local shop to get prices on new batteries Trojan lead acid were $1200 and their Lithium battery was $3500. He also told me that he would not put a Lithium battery in an older golf cart and that I would have a lot of problems with it. I think he just wanted to sell me a new car.So with the price of lead acid batteries I decided to go with LiTime 36v 100ah battery. That was the best decision that I could make and I am very pleased with the Battery. With lead acid batteries I had to charge the cart every 2 weeks but with the Litime battery I went 5 weeks. And the power the cart has now is amazing. It has never had power like this before. The amount of weight that was eliminated by using the LiTime battery was also unbelievable. The cart is so clean in the battery area now.
I have been using electric boat for over 20 years and I can't wait to try LiTime 12v 100AH Group 24 Bluetooth to see how it performs. If it's anything like the golf cart battery it is going to be amazing.
Dropped nearly 300 lbs in weight on my 36v EZGO roadster. More maneuverable, peppy. Not sure uet on top speed. Fit well in front tray, and is a drop in replacement with proper charger. Time will tell on longevity, and range, but happy so far.
I upgraded a 2002 EZGO TXT PDS. With the high speed Freedom mode programming jumper on flat terrain (stock motor and controller) I get 20 miles an hour and enough torque that i never floor it off the line! This thing is awesome!
This single 100ah battery pack probably shaved at least 250lbs net weight from the trojan batteries, which really helps in sand and with acceleration.
Will have to report back on longevity, but i did also install the LiTime charger.
FYI you will need a 36v to 12v buck transformer to power your accessories, since there is no way to tap 12v with this setup
I have used LiTime batteries for a a few years now so I wanted to stick with a brand I trusted. This golf cart battery will hopefully continue that relationship. The battery has a physically small base footprint than the published size would indicate so be mindful of that. (hopefully they are correcting that issue with better documentation). The battery itself seems to operate as expected.. I replaced six 235Ah lead acid batteries with this single 36v 100Ah LiFePO4 golf cart battery. I did have to "rework" the battery compartment because this single battery is bigger than any one of the six it replaced. We shall see how it lasts, but given my past experience with their batteries I don't think that will be an issue.
Customer service is something that is very important to me and the LiTime customer service has been very responsive and helpful.
I recommend the brand. Pictures are before and after.
Hi,
Holidays have impeded the start of the installation but I plan on getting to it this week. So far it has been received undamaged and I have charged it. Next need to work on wiring.
