Q: Is it OK to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger overnight?

While it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger—due to the built-in BMS in both the charger and the battery that prevents overcharging—it’s still wise to monitor the charging process. Once the battery is fully charged, it’s best to disconnect it promptly to prevent any unnecessary damage.
For added convenience, some LiTime chargers feature Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the connector, which eliminates the need to unscrew the battery terminals. However, for optimal safety, it’s recommended to unplug the AC power cord before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
