    The LiTime 12V 280Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 1200W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

    2. Generator/Alternator

    If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 56A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 140A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

    3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers

    To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.     LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0℃ to 50℃ / 32℉ to 122℉.. LiTime 12V 280Ah LiFePO4 batteries include the low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.

    Q: How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?

    A:

    It is recommended to store LiFePO4 lithium batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃ to 35 ℃ / 50℉ to 95 ℉,45%RH~75%RH

    Promising possibilities

    I do not yet have my new batteries installed. I chose 2x280ah batteries over the single 560ah battery because of the difficulty in lifting them into my RV. I am spending the winter installing my new solar PV system in our new RV and in several months will have it all complete. None of these components are plug and play, rather it is more about crimp. bend, and mount to the wall. The batteries arrived asleep and I woke them up with my LiTime 80-amp battery charger, then charged them to full, separately. In a few days I will lower them into my battery box I am installed to keep them secured for traveling in our RV. I am also installed 12-volt fans (4) to ventilate the battery box and the compartment in general for when the area becomes arm. This is partially through a stand along device and also from a temperature sensor relay in my Victron equipment. I am using several LiTime devices as well. I cannot wait to test all 560ah of battery storage to see how long we can dry camp this summer while recharging from our 1,440 watts of solar at our RV roof and on the ground.

    Two 280ah Bluetooth so far so good.

    After receiving these batteries, the first thing was to test the Bluetooth connection. The batteries arrived in their off-state. I connected a battery charger to them and they woke up at 50% SOC. That's to be expected. Next I installed them in parallel into the motorhome. The Magnum inverter charger can provide up to 125 amps of charging current. Sure enough, the batteries were able to charge at 125 amps, And this charging current tailed off nicely as the batteries reached 100% SOC. We have a small electric tea kettle, and of course both batteries easily provided the 60 amps needed to heat water for tea. I realize this is slightly over the recommended 50 amps per battery, but substantially less than the 100 amps that is acceptable. Alas, the weather turn bad, cold, and I had to take our motorhome to storage. When I returned to storage two days later, One of the batteries would not connect to the Bluetooth app. I Electrically separated the two batteries, and focused my attention on the one without Bluetooth. It's still provided power, and was awake. So I allowed the battery to discharge a bit while working around the area. Then I turned the charger on, apparently that did the trick to restart the Bluetooth. I connected the two batteries back in parallel. And have not had a chance to go back and see if the Bluetooth is still operational.
    I was able to start our motorhome generator with these two batteries, which is a good sign.
    Value for amp hours, that would be five stars. Will Prowse review says these are great batteries and it's so far so good.
    The Android Bluetooth app is basic. It show volts, amps, temperature and state of charge. It does have indicators to say that the BMS is balancing the cells, which is nice. I have, unfortunately, had some connection issues when switching back and forth between the two batteries, checking to see how closely my wiring is able to get The charging and discharging currents to be equal. Eventually I was able to see the data from both batteries. Sure, I would like to see individual voltages on each cells, perhaps that can be added as an upgrade.
    So, so far so good. Hopefully I can resolve the Bluetooth issues do my satisfaction. In the app, I can figured the batteries as a pair in parallel. I'm going to have to see if I can look at each battery at the same time using two different Bluetooth devices, for instance my tablet and my cell phone.

    I’ve had this battery for a little over a month, and so far it’s been great. No complaints at all. It charges quickly, holds power, and the Bluetooth works flawlessly.
