These batteries are designed to deliver bursts of high power necessary for propulsion and rapid acceleration, in addition to sustaining prolonged periods of operation. LiTime 36V 100Ah OBM lithium marine battery support 500A/1s surge discharge current, which ensures the battery able to withstand high current at start-up. Moreover, it able to discharge at 1.2 time the norminal current for 3 minutes, which much longer than those trolling motor batteries, sustaining prolonged periods of operation.

No, this battery is not a dual purpose battery and can't be used as a stater battery. It is a deep cycle battery specifically for electric outboards.
