Can I use LiTime Mini Smart as starting batteries?

No. The LiTime mini batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

Can I charge LiTime Mini LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels?

Yes, you can charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels.

The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 400W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥400W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

Besides solar panels, there are 2 more ways to charge.

2. Generator/Alternator

If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.

The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current:

20A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity;
50A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

3. LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Chargers

To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.

Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

LiTime 12V 100Ah mini LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0℃ to 50 ℃ / 32℉ to 122 ℉. The 12V 100Ah Mini Smart has upgraded with low-temperature cut-off protection, there for the battery can be automatically cut-off charging and discharging uder low-temp to protect battery lifspan and performance.

How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?

It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, recharge the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃ to 35 ℃ / 50℉ to 95 ℉，45%RH～75％RH.

Unbelievable for the price what you get. I am powering three humminbird helix graphs and my live scope with this unit. An average day on the water is 5 to 7 hours if I am trolling, I am running a 10 inch and 12 inch graph if I am jigging I am running to 10 inch graphs and a 12 inch plus my live scope. I have been able to use this battery along with the three group 31, 100ah trolling batteries, three times now since I have installed them a week ago. I have not come home with my trolling motor batteries under 83%. And my Mini running all of my electronics under 78%. I am absolutely blown away. Not to mention the trolling motor batteries were less expensive than the blue top Optima batteries I was previously. Making the switches an absolute no-brainer.
