The built-in Bluetooth feature enables you to monitor your battery's real-time status—including state of charge (SOC), voltage, current, cycle life, and temperature—directly from your smartphone. Simply download the LiTime Battery App, activate Bluetooth on your phone, and select your battery from the list of available devices. No extra hardware is necessary.
Run Time (hours) = Battery Capacity (Ah) / Current (A)
The higher the discharge rate (amount of current/amps being drawn from the battery), the shorter the duration it will last.
For example:
A 200Ah battery discharging at just 10A could theoretically last around 20 hours. Discharging at 50A would last only around 4 hours.
Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are certificated by UL, FCC, CE, RoHS, and UN38.3 to ensure their quality and safety.
All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System, which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage.
Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.
No. LiTime 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices. If you need a starting battery, please consider LiTime 12V marine starting batteries series.
1. Using Solar Panels
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 800W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥800W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency. Besides solar panels, there are 2 more ways to charge.
2. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 40A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 100A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.
Visit Guide on Charging LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries for more detailed information.
It is recommended to disconnect the charger from the battery or unplug the charger plug from the socket when the storage battery is fully charged. Otherwise, it may cause the battery BMS to trigger overcharging protection.
If BMS protection is frequently triggered, the BMS will be damaged over time, leading to degradation of the battery system performance or even damage.
LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 0℃ to 50℃ / 32℉ to 122℉. LiTime cold weather batteries include the low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.
It's recommended to charge the battery indoor when it's cold day. For more detailed guidance, visit the LiFePO4 Temperature Range page.
It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉), 45%RH~75%RH
Just switched my RV from Deep Cycle lead acid batteries. After quite a bit of research, I settled on this battery with Blue tooth. I wanted to make sure the battery would work below freezing and be protected from cold temps, so its nice to have the app. Some people have said the app is quirky and you need to disconnect and reconnect to see updates on the battery. Same experience, but not a big deal at all. The battery came and needed to be charged of course, so I did get a lithium rated charger off Amazon which wasn't too expensive, and it charged the battery great. I followed it on the app after the charge and all looked good and afterward the cells did a balance on their own, so all seems working well. I decided to just get the one 200AH battery instead of doing two 100AH in parallel. I know that works okay too but didn't want to worry about both being the same charge before I charged and installed them and other possible syncing issues. This battery also happened to fit perfectly in the battery box that's on my EPro RV trailer. I just put some small foam pieces in the bottom from the shipping box from LiTime that I cut to size and all is good. The real test now of course will see how it performs when we can finally get out camping this spring. Hopefully from what I read this battery will perform way better than the two deep cycle batteries it came with. If there are any issues, I will edit and update this review.
Works great
So far I have just tested them in the shop. But very pleased with the BMS.
Battery works fine. The bluetooth monitor however does not work on very slight discharge currents (i.e. less than 1 amp). This is not a show-stopper as everything else works great.
I purchased and installed two LiTime 200amp lithium batteries for my 5th wheel travel trailer, and they were easy to charge and install. They came up to full charge and have performed great in maintaining the full charge quickly and without problems, The Bluetooth connection is secure and active to provide current information when used on my cell phone . . very convenient to monitor use and battery status. I would buy these again if needed.
