What are the differences between the waterproof version and classic version?

This waterproof variant is specifically engineered for outdoor and marine use. With an IP65 waterproof rating, it is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, ensuring reliable performance even in wet or dusty environments.

The robust construction protects the charger from water splashes, rain, and dust, making it ideal for applications such as boating, camping, and outdoor solar setups. Additionally, the connector can be protected with a waterproof cap.

Can I charge LiFePO4 to 100%?

Yes, you can. But charging a battery to less than 100% and avoiding complete discharge always increases cell longevity. Similarly, maintaining operation within the 20%-80% state of charge (SoC) range will prolong the life of lithium batteries. In the case of LiTime deep cycle lithium batteries, they can withstand over 4000 deep cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD), over 6000 cycles at 80% DoD, and more than 15,000 cycles at 60% DoD.

Is it OK to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger overnight?

While it is generally safe to leave a LiFePO4 battery on the charger, it’s still wise to monitor the charging process. Once the battery is fully charged, it’s best to disconnect it promptly to prevent any unnecessary damage.

For added convenience, some LiTime chargers feature Anderson connectors, allowing you to stop charging simply by unplugging the connector, which eliminates the need to unscrew the battery terminals. However, for optimal safety, it’s recommended to unplug the AC power cord before disconnecting the Anderson connector.
