    A:Are LiTime LiFePO4 batteries safe? Yes. LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LiTime lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LiTime LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.

    Q: Can I use LiTime LiFePO4 Lithium batteries as starting batteries?

    No. LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime lithium batteries with solar panels?

    A:

    Yes, you can charge LiTime lithium batteries with solar panels. Here are 3 reliable ways to charge

    1. Using Solar Panels

    The LiTime 12V 400Ah battery can be fully charged by in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5hrs/day) by 1200W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1200W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.

    2. Generator/Alternator

    If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations.

    The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V. The Recommended Charging Current: ① 80A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 200A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

    3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers

    To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.

    The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.

    The Recommended Charging Current: ① 80A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 200A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.

    Q: Can I charge LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?

    A:

    LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). LiTime 12V 100Ah TM & 230Ah LiFePO4 batteries include low-temperature charging protection which will automatically cut the battery charging off when the cell temperature is lower than 32℉, thus preventing the battery cells from damage when charging under the freezing point.

    Q: How do I store LiTime LiFePO4 lithium batteries?

    A:

    It is recommended to store LiTime LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, recharge the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉), 45%RH~75%RH

    Bigger battery bank

    I was looking for more power for my house side of my bus. I had 4 L16 amg batteries. They just didn’t do it. So I started my search for “More Power” I looked at all 12v 400amp hour batteries made !!! Yes made ! Why did I go with LiTime batteries. Well the first point was cost I purchased them from their site litime.com they were running a sale I paid $912 per/battery if you bought 4. Yes that’s 1600amp/hours. With my specific set up it has two magnum 3012H inverters so I spilt the inverters so each had there own battery bank . Now to be fair li time was not my first pick like I said I looked at every 400amp/hr battery out there. There are ones with Bluetooth , and heaters to charge below 32*. Well my set up is kinda special ( 2020 Entegra Anthem) it has a special built in battery box that receives heat from my main living area . So heat was not needed. Second by making two battery banks I used two VictronConnect ip65 500v shunts to monitor the SOC. As you can see I didn’t need any of them fancy features I just needed power. I will be doing a in depth video for LiTime to be used on their web site. No I was not paid nor did I receive any compensation for this review . Take a look at Li Time batteries. If you just need power at a good price and the fancy features aren’t needed then theses are great batteries. I will be doing a one year review on their site ( if they ask me )

    so far the batteries I ordered I’ve worked exactly like they were advertised. I love the weight. I saved almost 1000 pounds can’t wait to try them for longer. We have an amount of 75 foot House Boat. So far a great product.

    We received the battery with no issues, right on time. We charged it up over night and hooked it into our invertor the next day. Everything went smoothly and we are very pleased with the power accessible.now even with the rainy days. Yay!!
