The nominal voltage of this battery is 51.2V
Over the years, the term "48V" has become the standard naming convention for golf cart batteries, even though lithium battery technology provides a nominal voltage of 51.2V. This slight voltage difference is within the acceptable range for 48V systems, allowing for compatibility and improved performance.
As a result, LiTime continues to use "48V" as a reference, out of habit and ease of understanding. Can read on 48V VS 51.2V Golf Cart Battery for more information.
Lithium batteries can provide greater continuous discharge for your golf cart, allowing you to easily handle hills and slopes.
While 36V setups have been popular in golf carts for many years and perform well, there are notable advantages to using a 48V system:

1. LiFePO4 Battery Charger
We recommend using a 58.4V battery charger to maximize the capacity
Recommend charging voltage: 56.8V ~ 58.4V
Recommend charging current: 12A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5hrs to 100% capacity. 30A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2hrs to around 97% capacity.
Attention:
Connect the charger to the battery before connecting it to the grid power in case of sparks.
Remember to disconnect the charger from the battery after fully charging.
2. Solar Panels
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 700W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥700W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
3. Generator/Alternator
If the alternator or generator supports DC output, a DC-to-DC charger is needed to connect the battery to the generator; if your alternator or generator supports AC output, please add a suitable battery charger to connect the battery and the generator according to our recommendations. The Recommended Charging Voltage: 56.8V ~ 58.4V .
The Recommended Charging Current: ① 12A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity; ② 30A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
It is recommended to store lithium LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 3 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉), 45%RH~75%RH
Fits easily where the 6-8v lead acid batteries were in my 2021 club car Tempo. Great power, my cart doesn’t slow down going uphill anymore. It’s nice not having to fill batteries with water anymore.
So far for my golf cart it's
been a great battery I got the 10amp charger also no problems. I also put a battery monitor on it to let me know when to charge everything seems to working great. And customer support is fantastic! I plan to make another purchase of 36vol 100amp soon for my boat
The battery shipping was pretty quick. The packaging it came in was damaged. The battery is pretty light for it size but it seems like it’s in a really big case. The instructions are pretty simple and it’s been pretty good. I put it in my 1997 club card DS fit right in the middle and I was able to hook everything up. I wish Litime would reach out to me and let me review there new 12v 560 battery I would like to see how it performs in my RV. The price on the battery is a great value.
I bought this for my 2002 club car ds as a replacement for the heavy LA batteries. This one battery replaced all 6 of my 8v batteries. I was able to lose over 300 lbs of batteries, which I think is incredible. I’ve had this in my cart for the summer so far and it has been the best decision I made. I installed a shunt to monitor the load and battery life and I can say that this is all I will ever run from here on out. The amp hour rating was lower than my LA original setup but I believe I get longer run time anyways since you can run this battery down so much further then the LA’s before going dead. The cart seems to accelerate faster, but I don’t know if that’s due to the battery or the huge reduction of overall weight. Regardless, I couldn’t be happier. It was literally plug n play for my setup. I did have to purchase a lithium charger but the charger also came with a direct plug for my cart. All I had to do was remove the signal wire to the controller. A couple of things to be aware of when choosing this battery is to make sure you have to space for it and ensure it’s rated properly for the draw of your electric motor. I was thinking about getting two of these for my cart but found out I didn’t have the space. I’m glad I didn’t because one battery is plenty for my setup. I’ve had 5 full size adults on this cart multiple times and it worked flawlessly. I plan to properly store this during the winter and hope it lasts many years. I think it even comes with a 3 yr mfg warranty, which I registered for on their website.
Perfect fit and easy install for my Ryobi mower. Seemingly far more power than the stock batteries - no more bogging down in tall grass. Easily mows my .6 acre property more than three times on a single charge. Install is a breeze with just the stock wiring. You will just need a new lithium compatible charger to pair with it.
